What Our Guests Said

GoogleWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waverly Hotel. Our room offered a charming street view of the old buildings and shops along a lovely avenue. The beds were comfortable, and we slept soundly after a long day of travel. Our host was gracious and helpful, and the breakfast she served up was absolutely wonderful. The whole experience felt welcoming and pleasant from start to finish. The Waverly has a unique character—a nostalgic, authentic vibe that makes it stand out from more generic accommodations. Highly recommended for anyone seeking charm and comfort in a memorable setting.

TripadvisorStayed here for one night at the start of August before travelling further north. I stayed here 50 years ago while working in Ardersier oilrig fabrication yard and the food was excellent. So I wanted to visit again. My wife and I had a lovely comfortable room. Breakfast was first class, 10 out of 10

GoogleThis is a lovely old fashioned hotel. I would say could be more described as a good B & B. We had a family room which was a double and single bed. There was not much spare room in the room but two lovely old windows looking over the High Street. Breakfast and the host were delightful in the old dining room. A good feed and a good Highland welcome as described. It's important to understand that you can't check in till after 4pm. We had missed this instruction and the hotel is shut until 4pm. Also there is no lift so you will have to walk up two flights of stairs or potentially 3 to your room. Superb location, good price and you are given a key for the front door which is handy if you're coming home late.

TripadvisorVery clean, great breakfast. Quaint hotel with older decor but clean and tidy. Denise seems to run the place alone but runs a tight ship and very pleasant lady with a no-nonsense approach. |Conveniently placed in the high street. Would stay again for sure.
